Amelia keeps Kāinga Maha's projects on track behind the scenes. She is the central point of all the systems, processes, and coordination that stop things falling through the gaps between feasibility and delivery.
In practice, that means document control, consultant and supplier onboarding, financial administration, compliance coordination, and project reporting. She works closely with multidisciplinary teams to make sure information is accurate, responsibilities are clear, and nothing falls through the gaps.
A significant part of her role has involved building and improving the internal tools the business relies on. She led the implementation of Asana across the business, transitioning the team from an email-driven workflow to a structured project management system with automated processes, supplier onboarding forms, and resource planning. She also led the roll-out of Xero Projects, integrating project budgets, staff time, and supplier costs into a single platform and improving the accuracy of billing and financial reporting.
She holds a Certificate in Business and is currently completing a Diploma in Project Management, building directly on the coordination and systems work she does day to day.
Outside work, Amelia prioritises time with family, hiking, the gym, and making space to recharge.
